A Leaning Tower
We took a train to Pisa and a taxi to the tower. We hadn't seen the leaning tower in fifty years or so. It was time to see it again.
Lynda is seen holding up the tower with one hand holding onto her cane. She was seen as a very special person to he able to do that
There were many people standing up on pillars trying to get the ultimate picture holding up the tower. It looked a little silly, but when in Rome...er...Pisa, you must. There were love birds there also.Of course, the Duomo and the Cathedral as well as the walls of the old city make for good pics.We had a very good lunch, again I had wild boar, in one of the sidesteet Ristorantes. We did not ride the carriage, as I don't remember why.
I thought I saw Galileo on top dropping his different sized balls. Did that come out wrong? Of course that was in the 1500s.
My next post will be about the fantastic wine, olive oil and truffle lunch we had in the farm villa. The experience of a lifetime.
